What you need to know about Chase’s latest cruise ship expansion
Chase has expanded its fleet of cruise ships from four to six and added two new destinations in Florida, New Zealand and Australia.
The expansion of its fleet follows an expansion of the company’s cruise line last year and the expansion of international passenger service on its new Blue Ocean fleet.
In 2018, the company will expand its services to more than 50 countries and territories worldwide, including China, the United Arab Emirates, India, Indonesia, Mexico, the Philippines, Turkey and Vietnam.
Chase’s new Blue Oceans cruise ship, the Blue Ocean, is scheduled to begin passenger service in 2019.
Chase said it will open the Blue Oceana in the Bahamas from July 15, 2019, to June 30, 2020, and will begin operations in the Caribbean from August 11, 2019.
Blue Oceans is the second of two new Blue Seas cruise ships scheduled to be added to the Blue ocean fleet.
The Blue Ocean will be a smaller vessel that can carry 12 people, including passengers, on board, while the Blue Seas will be larger and will have capacity for a total of 48 people.
On top of the two new ships, the new Blue Sea will also have an additional two new, more comfortable cruise ships in service.
In 2019, the first of these two ships will begin passenger operations in Japan.
Blue Oceans next expansion will occur in 2020, when the company plans to expand its Blue Ocean to include a further 32 cruise ships, which it expects to operate in total for around 500 trips.
There are a total 40 cruise ships on the BlueOcean fleet, of which 32 are new, while another 14 are currently in service or in the planning stages of being added to existing vessels.
All of these ships will be operated by Blue Ocean Cruise Lines.
“The Blue Seas expansion will allow us to expand our service offering, expand our operations in Asia, and offer a more comprehensive itinerary,” said John M. Gagnon, president and chief executive officer of Chase Travel.
I’m looking forward to getting the Blue Sea aboard for the first time next summer, as we’re now launching the Blue Atlantic brand in a new, innovative cruise line in the Gulf of Mexico.”
The expansion is expected to result in the creation of 1,200 new jobs across the company, including 1,000 new jobs at its Florida, Florida, operations.
One of the new cruise ships will serve as the primary ship for the BlueAtlantic brand.
“The expansion and expansion of our fleet of Blue Oves are the next logical step for Chase Travel as we look to continue our growth and success, and look forward to expanding our business with new opportunities,” added Chase’s Andrew H. Wiedefeld, president, and CEO, Americas. “
As we look ahead to the future, the expanding Blue Ocean fleet will help us build the next generation of global cruise ships that can accommodate a variety of destinations and accommodate the ever-changing demand for passengers and crew.”
