Nys travel banning from Trump’s hotel ban is a ‘disaster for the country’

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said Wednesday that his city will not allow Trump’s administration to impose a ban on the use of Airbnb, saying the move is “disaster” for the city.

“This is a terrible idea that was put forward to the detriment of New York, and I believe it is a disaster for the state of New Jersey, and it’s not going to be good for our economy,” de Blasio told reporters.

“I am not going in and saying we’re going to ban Airbnb or not, but I am not doing it.

And I believe that the New York people are the ones who are going to pay the price.”

Trump announced his travel ban on Monday, which temporarily banned citizens from six Muslim-majority countries and imposed travel bans on seven other foreign nationals.

New York’s mayor said the ban will help New Yorkers who live in the city but are in other parts of the country.

“It will allow New Yorkers to come to New Jersey and go to New York and go back to New England and back to their families and their friends, and the rest of the world will see this,” deBlasio said.

“The mayors of New Orleans and New York have done so much for our country and our city.

They are the best people to go to a country like this.

And we’re really just going to have to watch the New Yorkers take the heat.”

Trump has faced bipartisan opposition in the U.S. Senate to the ban, which he said he had signed because it would help his business.
